Using Abode Lightroom

I downloaded Lightroom which is a more simple editor compared to photoshop with lots of filters and a adjustments available to edit your image.

I tried out editing some images:

I opened my image and applied the cross process 2 filter

I then changed the shadows, highlights, whites, black and clarity to make it look slightly less overexposed and more sharp.
I used the tone curve to slightly adjust the tones
And then adjusted the highlights, lights, darks and shadows accordingly
I then sharpened the image,, theres a small zoomed in section of your image so you can see how much your adjustment is effecting the image.
I then further adjusted luminance and detail to enhance the flowers a bit more

This is the result:

I then edited a portrait I took:

I chose a preset black and white contrast filter and further increased the contrast
I then decreased shadows and highlights and put the clarity right up to show lots of detail

This was my image before:

I love how the image was totally transformed with so much detail showing in the end result and sharp contrasts.

I chose some other filters and adjusted shadows, highlights and clarity slightly to achieve some different results:

I edited another image:

this time I used the lens filter, the yellow one.

This gave the effect that I took the original image using a yellow filter on my lens. It gave a much softer tone.

I tried out the look of the other filters:

Red high contrast filter - This is my favourite filter used with the image becuase the contrast is so high and sharp, it brings out all the detail.

This is the blue high contrast filter, also a favourite of mine, I love how the entire image looks dark but still keeps detail.

I added the sepia tone to this image which gave a really soft, delicate look compared to the previous sharp, high contrast looks.

I created a few more collections of images using lightroom to add to my Instagram, Behance and Website:

I used the old polar filter and decreased the highlights.

For these I used the different antique, cream and sepia filters:
